Under Graduate Programme
The audiography programme aims at teaching students the role of sound as an aesthetic application
in cinema, and how it could be achieved, both creatively and technically. The course is designed to
help students learn in professional environment the art and craft of dubbing, sync sound and music
recording, track laying, mixing and sound-design. The infrastructural strength of the department
includes latest location recording equipment, besides 7.1 sound mixing set up (Dolby calibrated) The
course will help students attain professional experience for studio related jobs and assignments, as
well as pursue a career of an audiographer/sound recordist/sound designer in the film industry, TV
and broadcast channel, live sound, etc.
